Add Ticket Sharing

The Add Ticket Sharing action allows supporters to grant read or write access to tickets. This action can be used to automatically share tickets with other users or groups when certain conditions are met in a task.

The action supports two types of access:

  • Read access: Users can view the ticket and its contents
  • Write access: Users can view and modify the ticket

Access can be granted to both individual users and groups. When granting access to a group, all members of that group will receive the specified access level. Multiple users and groups can be selected in a single action.

The action requires the user running the task to have supporter permissions. The access granted through this action is in addition to any existing access permissions the users or groups may already have.

An example use case is automatically sharing tickets with a specific support group when they are assigned to a particular process or category.
