Set Asset Field

The Set Asset Field action sets one editable asset field using its normal input control and validation.

The following are available for configuration:

• Asset ID - One asset GUID, for example {asset.id}.
• Field - An editable built-in or custom asset field. Computed and read-only fields are excluded.
• Value - The value to set, using the selected field's control.

Free-text inputs support trigger, series, and job-result placeholders. Checkboxes and fixed-choice controls retain their usual behavior. The field must be available for the target asset type. Setting a field requires write permission for the Inventory application, and mandatory-field validation applies.
