Mounts are connections to external services or servers. User can connect to services with their own users and make their external data available in the Drive - either for themselves or other users using linking. The available connection types depend on additional plugins, such a OAuth connections for Google and Dropbox connections, or FTP. Additional mounts are displayed on the root level of the side navigation.
Users with the Server Administration permission also have access to the Server File System connection, which allows a folder on the server to be mounted on the drive. Again, links can be used to make the server folder available to other users.
Mounted resources are available to the owner user only. That means that every user can add individual new external mounts to, e.g. FTP servers, invisible to other users by default.
Mounts appear in Drive like Drive's own elements. However, as the mount data is located externally outside the INETAPP server, mounts are subject to functional restrictions:
