AI Trigger

AI Triggers can be used to run a Task Planner task via the server's AI function. AI Triggers are available as tools with optional parameters. You can use the parameter names that you provide with curly brackets in the input fields of jobs or actions.

Usage

When an AI Trigger is activated for a task, the server registers the configured tool with the AI. The AI receives the tool's Name, Description, and optional Parameters and can call the associated task when needed. It can pass the defined parameter values, which you can use as placeholders in jobs or actions.

You can invoke an AI Trigger in two ways:

  • i-net CoWork bot: You can instruct the AI in the CoWork chat to trigger important tasks. The AI selects the appropriate tool and passes the required parameters.
  • AI Task Planner job: In combination with the AI job, you can trigger tasks in an intelligent way. The AI can also use tools and pass parameters to subsequent jobs or actions.

Configuration

  • Name: The unique name of the tool, used to distinguish it from other tools.
  • Description: What the tool is capable of doing. This will help the AI to understand, how this Task Planner task can be used.
  • Parameter: Here, parameters can be given to the tool and then used as placeholders later on. The Name is used to distinguish between multiple parameters. The Description is required to help the AI understand what the parameter can be used for.

Note: Please note that the selected AI provider and model must support tools.
